Review: DK is the bomb!!!! I have only played 5 hours and only 10 percent
complete. Rare has done it again!!! Now if only other game companies would pay
attention to detail and put forth 1/4 the effort that Rare puts into a game.
Gamers everywhere would be alot happier when renting or purchasing a game.

Review: I only played it at my friends but what I saw is the best! Let's see
Graphics: COOL!, Sound: Atmospheric (big word!), Gameplay: I can see why some
people say that a heart stopping ride in a mine kart is only rewarded by a
banananana(how do you stop spelling it?) But that's just because they've spent
too much time around violent shoot em ups, so they can't get into the story
line. overall: Brill! Excellant! Cooool!!!

Review: I LOVE DK64!!!!! It's amazing, I bought it saturday and I played this
week-end...it's awesome, the graphics are really good and it's not like IGN
said, I don't really see a banjo-Kazouesque game but a real creative new game.
Of course, there is some light effects that looks just like Banjo-Kazooie but
that's it...They only bad point until now is : I think that the swinging cords
aren't really beautiful, some look like a green bar... but this is a little
detail... when we are talking of details it means that it's good and that we are
looking for bad parts!!!!! Whatever...Buy this game, it's the most amazing
one... I like Lanky, but I don't have Chunky, I've only played 6hres (I
completed 12 %)....... The last thing I have to say is ....BUY IT.....

Review: Donkey Kong is a masterpiece of videogaming at it's highest level in
terms of graphics,gameplay and level design.
The playability and sheer amount of fun that you get from playing this really
rewarding game is top notch. I have not
played a game so immersive and so huge in size since Zelda which Donkey Kong
easily is on par with and so much better
than banjo which didn't seam together so well like DK does, Just play this game
through your hi-fi and you'll be living
in this game for days. Absolutely brilliantly executed,flawless and captivating.
This has got to be one of Rare's funniest
finest games they have made. Pure magic.!!!

Review: The graphics are by far the best seen on the N64. This game runs in a
medium resolution, has the best lighting effects that I have ever seen, smooth
animation and has a high frame rate (it does have a little slowdown) The sound
effects are top notch but the music just isn't all that. There are even a few
tunes that are borrowed from Banjo-Kazooie. I would of liked to hear music
similar to Donkey Kong Country 2 which had great atmosphere. The control and
gameplay are the best yet. The minigames are a ton of fun. It took me 30 hours
to beat the game with 140 bananas so I don't really see doing everything taking
85 hours like Nintendo promised. I found this game in no way repetitive or
frustrating. The multiplayer is quite fun and the extra mini games also add to
the experience. This is without a shadow of a dought the best 3-D platformer the
world has ever seen.

This is the master of all games in 2 to 4 player fun no blood is cool we don't
need bloody shooting games all the time..
And the art work they did in this game is God set God has blessed thoes who made
this game..
And the modes of play are great like finding faries to have hidden thing turned
on and the rap is cool and the monkeys are funny too..
Zelda rase his hand to the new master of fun on N64 in less Zelda 64 2 becomes 2
to 4 players next....

Review: I've been looking through these reviews and I noticed a lot how it
mentioned the similarity between DK and Banjo-Kazooie. I personally thought B-K
was a great game, and probably the best i've played so far.... I don't have DK
but I hope to get it for x-mas and I think I'll really enjoy it. I get a little
discouraged when I hear about how hard it is, but I think that's what will make
the game different and unique. If you guys have ever read any of Brian Jacques
book's like Redwall or Mattimeo, I think you'll understand how the others say
it's boring in the begginig. But, I'm glad too see that it will get better. So,
that's why I think I would rate this game an 8, and I hope it's even better than
an 8 with the new included technology.I hope you enjoy this game and wish luck
for me getting it

Review: Everyone needs to wake up. OH YEA the name is so great. "DK64"
HOW ORIGINAL. How many games do u own that end with 64?.sheesh... 2 1/2 years
and
thats all they could come up with? it was cool as DKC and DKL those were
creative
but DK64 is just not catchy. Graphics are not
what makes a game. Ok the graphics are great
and so are the controls but get real the game like Stephen
said is just like a remake of Banjo-Kazooie.
You guys talk about the puzzles being so great,
if you want puzzles go out and buy a puzzle
game. This game is not for anyone but DK fans
if you dont like DK from the start I highly doubt anyone
will like it that much. Its fun at first but then gets
tedious. Rare whips up a few nice graphics and fun little levels
and you win over the audience. Personally i found that SNES original
DKC was a much better game. The main reason i bought this
game was becuase the expansion pack came with it
which made the game like only 30 bux. I highly doubt this game
wouldve sold as well if it didnt come with the expansion pack or have
a collectors edition yelllow cartridge...well i just you guys
really thinkabout what i said rather than just saying
hey that guys just an idiot and a moron. Im a DK fan
but im just disappointed i havent even touched the game
for a 2 days after playing it the first time cuz its just so easy
and got boring..... WELL HAVE FUN PLAYING :)

Review: DK64 is an exciting and beautiful game, but the problem is that it makes
a perfect sequel to Banjo-Kazooie. The game is not Donkey Kong style. I truly
believe that the previous DKC games were much better in graphics, music, and
gameplay. DK64's evironments are very colorful, but they don't look lifelike.
The camera angles are not as smooth as Banjo-Kazooie either. Finally, this game
is very easy to pass. After playing the game for 20 hours, I was 60% done. There
might be a lot of stuff to collect but it's not difficult to do so.

Review: This is the best game Rare has ever made, maybe one of the best games
Nintendo has to offer. The graffics are the best i have ever seen and the
characters are hillarious and fun to control. But one warning: THIS GAME WILL
TAKE A LONG TIME TO BEAT!!!!!! Even though, long, hard games are alot better
than short, easy ones right? If you have'nt played it yet, buy it. It will hold
your attention untill you beat it and beyond. Also, the 2,3,and 4 player games
are great. I hav never played a game like Donkey Kong 64. As for that junk
abaout it being too much like Banjo-Kazooie, thats a loud of crap. This game has
nothing similar to BK excapt that Rare made it. Ah, yes, Banjo_Kazooie, Rare's
one and only defalt while DK64 is its greatest game. PLAY THIS GAME!!! And if
you dont have the required expantion pak, DO NOT BUY IT!!! I t comes with the
game, which I think is a great deal. The game is $60.00!!! What a deal!!!
Almosst all new games are $70.00 and this game could sell for $80.00 and it
comes with an EP! Heck, if you are really stupid and just need an EP and don't
want this great game, buy the game! It's like getting an EP and paying $30.00
for a top-ranked game! Go and play this game and good luck, it's the hardest
game I've ever palyed

Review: I have to say that DK64 is the best game ever to hit any of the
Nintendo's. I don't know why people say that the game is boring to explore and
complete the objectives because that's the fun of the game. I think this adds
about 50+ hours to the total gameplay. After getting DK on the first day, so far
I am 89% of the way through the game. It absolutely rules and this is why I gave
it a 10/10.

Review: This game is huge. Can anyone say "replay value". The only thing
hurting this title is the camera. You need the camera to be behind you most of
the time but in order for that to happen you must hold down the R button. An
option to lock and unlock camera views would boost my rating. All other aspects
of game great!

Review: The only thing that I could find wrong this game is the fact that it
takes a long time to complete it. The graphics, sound, enemies, and movements
were terrific. This game would get a perfect 10 if it did not take so long to
explore and find everything that you need.

Review: First off, I'd like to say that this is rare's best game to date (yes
I'm including goldeney). If your worried that it didn't live up to the
hype,don't it does!It seems that everyone's bashing it for repetition, but since
all the characters open new areas, it's not that bad. Here's a quick overview:
graphics: 10/10
breathtaking. The level design, the lighting effects, the textures, and
especially the animation. In all, it blows everything away.way better than
banjo-kazooie. The aztec level will blow you away.
sound: 9/10
great sound effects and music. A lot of people say that it sounds a lot like b-k
but it doesn't really. The music is perfect for each level and the surround
sound introduces a great sense of immersion.
control: 10/10
perfect says it all.
multi-player: 9.5/10
this thing is so fun! Once you've got 3 other friends to play with, nothing
compares (cept goldeneye). The characters and weapons are so fun to use.It's so
satisfying after an orange grenade hits your opponent smack in the face. Fun Fun
Fun.
gameplay: 10/10
Big, fun, engrossing, endearing: none of these adjectives quite describes the
fun that you will feel while playing this game. Everything comes together
perfectly. If there's one thing that I would improve upon, it's the length.
Everyone says it's amazingly huge, it is, but It isn't an 80 hour game. More
like a 40 hour game. I've played 25 hours and am 61% finished. Another thing,
you don't have to get 100% to complete the game. I'm almost complete right now.
But this factor does not ruin the game. The multi-player and cheat mode keep you
coming back, and I'm not gonna stop until I get 100% and that special ending.
Overall: 10/10
If you like platformers, you must have this game. If you don't like platformers,
you must have this game. It's the best game since zelda and should be on
everyone's wish list. At least rent it!

Review: I think DK64 has to be one of the best games EVER!!! The graphics aren't
any shorter then wow, and the huge levels may seem boring to the non patient but
it's great fun anyway.I don't see any resemblance to Banjo Kazzoie exept Rare
makes both of them.Though it is iritating to go a long way from a tag barrel and
find out you need a diferent kong or you need some more coins for a move.Though
the last thing I dislike is the same kinda beat repeats on almost any area kinda
of music, like Banjo Kazzoie. The mini games are great but take my advice do not
try to play this game without plugging the expansion pack in first or you might
mess up your system like mine....heh heh

Review: I am totally addicted to the game. I have been looking forward to
Donkey Kong for the 64 for a LONG time and I'm not disappointed. There is SO
much to do. As with most of the 64 games, though, I've had troubles with camera
angles and I still have trouble swimming.

Review: I think that DK 64 is overall a great game. The only problem I have, is
that except for the bosses, everything is easy! Some of the bosses (especially
the Jack in the Box) were really hard. Great Game!

Review: I have been reading all these comments about donkey kong 64
and im going crazy about getting it.The only problem is im living in Australia
at the moment and DK64 doesn't come out here until December 10th.f**k that is so
f****d.I have my copy reserved and have spent the last 6 month on the internet
finding as much info about it and looked at about 1000 screenshots and its just
not enough.I have to have this game so urgently and its not coming out here for
another week.I know this game will be the best game of all time.No other console
like playstation or sega have ever made a game as great as this.DK64 is going to
sell just as fast over here in Australia as in America and i,ll give it a score
of 11 in advance.This is seriously the best game ever made.

Review: Donkey Kong is much more than a game--it is an experience. Every now
and then there comes a game that truly revolutionizes the industry. While
Donkey Kong 64 doesn't really offer any innovation to the platform genre, it
does offer a wealth of gameplay. Many have compared Dk64 to Banjo Kazooie.
Fair enough. Yet, DK64 offers much more than Banjo. The gameplay is refined
to perfection. It has loads of miny games. Tons of characters that aren't
really annoying. Beautiful graphics that rival graphics produced on the
playstation 2. Wonder sound effects and well-composed music. In short, Dk64
is much more than a videogame it is an epic that no videogamer should be
without. Thanks, Rare!!!!

Review: This GAME ROCKS....I think it is just awsome how u have to use the other
characters to get to new places...with each character u find new things...i
really like playing a game like this where u get better and more stuff as the
game goes on... And on top of that there is sooooooo much to do...i can't see
finishing the game anytime soon, but I like it when i can't finish a
game....because then i actually have fun just plane exploring...This game is
great...i would recomend it for any gamer...but it might be a little hard for a
bigginer to get the controls...i have B-k so i can use the controls very well..
